Where do you deliver?

We deliver across Bengaluru, Karnataka, and Pan-India (all states and union territories of India). Whether you're in Jayanagar, Malleswaram, Hebbal, or anywhere in India — we've got you covered.

How long will my order take to arrive?

If you're within 5 km of our store in Ganganagar, Bengaluru, you'll receive your order the same day — provided you place it before 12:00 PM. For locations beyond 5 km within Bengaluru, delivery is the next day. Karnataka (outside Bengaluru): 2–4 business days. Pan-India: 4–7 business days. We are operational Tuesday to Sunday.

Are your products authentically from Mangalore and Coastal Karnataka?

Yes — and this is something we take seriously. Mangalore Store has been serving Bengaluru's Mangalorean community from our physical store since 2007. Every product we stock is sourced from trusted suppliers along the Karavali coast. When you order from us, you're getting the same products our walk-in customers have trusted for 19 years.

What is the minimum order value for free delivery?

No minimum order value. Free delivery thresholds by zone: • Bengaluru: free on orders above ₹799 (flat ₹70 below) • Karnataka (outside Bengaluru): free on orders above ₹1,499 (flat ₹150 below) • Pan-India: free on orders above ₹1,999 (flat ₹150 below) Shipping charges are shown at checkout before payment.

Do you accept Cash on Delivery?

Yes, for Bengaluru orders only. A COD handling surcharge of ₹45 is added at checkout. Karnataka and Pan-India orders require prepaid payment via UPI, card, or net banking.

How fresh are the products?

Very. Unlike large online marketplaces that warehouse products for weeks, we operate from a physical retail store with high daily turnover built over 19 years. Products are sourced regularly and dispatched directly from our store — not from a distant warehouse. Shelf life details are printed on the product label.

What if my order arrives damaged or a product is spoiled?

Contact us on WhatsApp (+91-9611573008) within 24 hours of delivery with a photo of the affected product. For spoiled items, we issue a store credit coupon equal to the value of the item, valid for 30 days. For damaged or incorrect orders, contact us on the same number — we'll look into it and make it right. Full details are in our Returns & Refund Policy.

How will I know the status of my order?

You'll receive order status updates via SMS and WhatsApp at each stage — order confirmed, order dispatched, and out for delivery. You can also check your order status in the Account section. A tracking link is provided once your order is dispatched.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major payment methods — UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), debit and credit cards, net banking, and Cash on Delivery (Bengaluru only). Payments are processed securely via Razorpay.

Can I cancel my order after placing it?

Yes, as long as your order hasn't been packed yet. To cancel, WhatsApp us at +91-9611573008 with your order number as soon as possible. Once packing begins, cancellation is not possible. Prepaid orders cancelled before dispatch are fully refunded within 5–7 business days.

Do you have a physical store I can visit?

Yes — and we're proud of it. Our store at 94/1, 1st Cross, Opp. 108B Bus Stop, Ganganagar, Bengaluru has been open since 2007. We're open every day, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The online store brings the same products and the same trust to your doorstep.

Will products shipped Pan-India reach me well before their expiry date?

Absolutely. We strictly restrict our regional and Pan-India shipping tiers to shelf-stable categories like traditional masalas, sun-dried sandige, dry snacks, and herbal wellness powders. The vast majority of our products are completely shelf-stable and are guaranteed to arrive fresh with zero risk of spoilage. In the rare instance that a specific item in your order carries even a minor transit risk due to seasonal conditions, our store team will manually reach out to you via WhatsApp to inform you before dispatching your box. Every single item is hand-inspected to ensure maximum longevity.

Will I receive a GST invoice with my order?

Karavali Mangalore Store is currently operating legally as an unregistered dealer under GST rules. Consequently, we do not charge separate GST at checkout, nor do we issue formal GST tax invoices. A standard physical commercial invoice is included with every delivery for your accounting and personal records.

What happens if I accidentally enter an incorrect shipping address at checkout?

If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, perishable food items are completely non-refundable and do not qualify for store credit. For non-perishable packages returned to our store facility by the courier, we can re-ship the items to your corrected address upon payment of a flat processing and re-shipping fee.

Why do some fresh items show a "Pre-order via WhatsApp" popup instead of letting me add them to the website cart?

Highly perishable items — such as fresh Neer Dose, hand-pressed Ottu Shavige, Sannas, and traditional Kotte Kadubu — are prepared fresh daily and cannot sit in a transit warehouse. To guarantee you receive them fresh on the exact day of preparation, we process these items directly via WhatsApp to coordinate instant, same-day dispatch.

How is delivery handled for fresh perishable items ordered via WhatsApp?

Because fresh items must be delivered on the same day to preserve quality, they do not qualify for our standard automated courier shipping tiers. When you order via our WhatsApp prompt, delivery is coordinated in real time. Depending on your distance from our Ganganagar facility, you can choose to book a hyper-local point-to-point delivery service (like Porter or Dunzo) to pick up your order directly, or we can assist you in arranging a real-time delivery slot.
